Spain is a country unimaginable without flamenco. However this time the early music ensemble Jacaras is set to reveal another aspect of its beauty.
The creative Jacaras company that has united five guitarists from the Karl Lipinski Academy and the charismatic singer from Mexico Julieta Gonzalez de Springer will introduce audiences to Spanish Baroque dances. According to the ensemble’s leader, Prof. Piotr Zaleski, not only have the tarantela, fandango and folia made it to our times, they also carry out a very important role in music history. Keeping the Mediterranean Sea spirit alive, these performers are reviving centuries-old dances for a new life!
