Even a hunter does not shoot at a bird who seeks shelter from him” – Ch. Sugihara.

The thousands of Jews who were issued with Visas for Life found shelter in Chiune Sugihara’s heart. He was one of the few state diplomats who took it as his personal responsibility to help rather than hinder. He elevated humanity above orders, becoming an example of tolerance, kindness and justice.

A sacred space and Japanese music performed by joint artistic forces – a reminder of the importance of our shared human values and spiritual friendship between different nations.

Program: J. Hisaishi, Ž. Trinkūnaitė, G. Puccini and others

Concert duration: 60 min
