Bernardine Gardens (8A B. Radvilaitės St, Vilnius)

Concert organised in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland

At the Bernardine Gardens – a meeting with the ambassador of Chopin’s music in Lithuania. This title is held by pianist Šviesė Čepliauskaitė. For her recital, she has chosen pieces from elaborate manor houses that have been elevated to the great concert stage. Polonaises, waltzes, mazurkas and nocturnes touched by Chopin would acquire a new meaning and depth.

The pianist often performs in the great romantic’s homeland, and in the Polish press she is named as “one of the most talented pupils of Professor Barbara Hesse-Bukowska, receiving stormy rounds of applause from the audience after each concert”. The soloist’s masterful playing, stage elegance and the spirit of romance hanging in the air is sure to enchant your hearts.
