Starting time:

Duration:

Two worlds. That's how you'll feel after listening to Jagoda Stanicka's concert. One world is filled with the subtle romanticism of Fryderyk Chopin. The other boasts the performer's own cinematographic works. According to the pianist, this dualism was determined by her own strong classical education and the desire to set her own creative path.

Having graduated from the prestigious Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the Amsterdam Conservatory, Stanicka developed her masterful skills with the most prominent contemporary pianists. Following numerous recitals and performances with orchestras, she understood that this was not enough! So today the pianist is also an acknowledged composer with a range of awards under her belt as well as premieres on Polish, American and German radio.

The pianist blurs the boundaries between genres as a member of the groups tęskno and OLKA, and by collaborating in the projects Piano for AI and Przy-jaźni she seeks to use her music to unite and inspire communities all over the world.

So, join Stanicka as we twirl to the rhythm of Chopin's waltzes and experience the sombreness of his ballads. And as a finale – a walk through the minimalist yet emotionally deep soundscapes created by the soloist.

Programme features F. Chopin, J. Stanicka, W. Kilar and others

Free admission
