GABRIELĖ AGILĖ BAJORAITĖ (piano)
“Bach was an astronomer who discovered the most wonderful stars. Beethoven challenged the entire universe. While I am only trying to express the human soul and heart”, was how Frédéric Chopin talked about his music.
He realised his goal with abundance – earning the title of genius and becoming the most-loved pianist composer of all time.
Gabrielė Agilė Bajoraitė is one such fan. The young pianist has been studying at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre since 2020, but she’s already packed a serious creative punch. Various competition laurels, special prizes for the best performances of classical and contemporary works to her name, appearances on concert hall stages and at festivals in Lithuania and abroad.
This time she has been entrusted with the last Christopher’s Picnic, at the centre of which will be Chopin and his fine companions – L. van Beethoven and S. Rachmaninov.
Program: F. Chopin, L. van Beethoven, S. Rachmaninov
Concert duration: approx. 70 min.
